Frustrated by the lack of a healthy, smart, cool role model for their five and six year-old children, authors Hillary Feerick and Jeff Hillenbrand created the Mitch Spinach children book series, written in collaboration with renowned physician and best selling author Joel Fuhrman, M.D. They searched existing kids books, books for children, books for young children, new kids books, kidsbooks, educational books for kids, kids healthy eating books but nothing entertained or motivated their kids to eat more fruits and vegetables independently. The Mitch Spinach children’s books are fun adventure mystery kids books that use multi-cultural characters, colorful illustrations, AND Mitch Spinach, a kid with super powers gained from eating fruits and veggies. Mitch Spinach best kids books have the power to teach kids about the importance of eating healthy foods and in turn, reduce the number of children struggling with weight, chronic colds, ear infections and other nutrition-related problems. After reading the Mitch Spinach educational books for kids, children often ask for healthy fruits and vegetables in order to be more like Mitch Spinach and perhaps possess some of the same special powers he has to solve mysteries at Sunchoke elementary school.

For most people buying a child a book is usually a spur of the moment thing, the book caught your eye or caught your child’s attention, you take a quick look and then purchases it. At other times you see a book that has your child’s favorite television personality as the star of the book and you think that he/she will love this and purchase it. In other words most people buy a children’s book as a spur of the moment decision or from a book club they signed up for. They say that the internet is killing the book industry, but one area that it is certainly not being overrun is in the educational books department. Every year millions of students around the world purchase educational books to help assist them on their school, college, university or master degree courses.
What has always staggered me is the cost of these books. Firstly when you go into the bookstore they are not easy to find, but when you do finally manage to track them down these educational books are often twice or three times the price of a regular autobiography and up to six times as much as a short novel. So why are these books so expensive?
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they don’t expect to sell to many so they increase the price to make a decent profit off of them. The bestselling novels authors can expect sales up to 30 million copies, Dan Continue Reading…
